The Resilient Athlete Project shares stories of courage and determination. Our goals are directed toward building a community of athletes that share dreaming big, and in being your best in sport––over the long-term. Stories are told by current or retired female athletes who have lived, dreamed and––in some cases––won in spite of odds. We talk about Relative Energy Deficiency in Sport and the importance of female periods, which are signs of vital health. We talk about power, what abuse of power looks like, and how to harness your own power. Finally we talk about understanding and embracing failure on the journey. Together the stories we have and the stories we create are about being resilient in sport.
